Using Pre-built Node Setups

All of our setups are drag and drop to make it as easy as possible to start.

  1. Find the Geometry Node setup you want to use in the corresponding section within the add-on, then simply drag and drop onto the area you want to use it.

  2. Switch to the Node Editor: Once the file is open, switch to the Node Editor. Do this by selecting the "Node Editor" workspace or by manually switching the editor type to "Shader Editor" or "Compositing."

  3. Select the desired node network: In the Node Editor, see a list of available node networks at the top of the window. Select the appropriate node network related to the geometry setup you want to view.

  4. View and navigate the node network: Once the node network is selected, you will see the nodes and connections that make up the setup. You can zoom in or out using the scroll wheel and pan the view by clicking and dragging with the middle mouse button.

  5. Inspect and modify nodes: You can select individual nodes by clicking on them. Once selected, you can view and adjust the parameters associated with that node in the Node Editor sidebar or properties panel. Parameters may include numerical values, sliders, checkboxes, or dropdown menus.

  6. Follow connections and explore the setup: You can trace the connections between nodes by examining the lines linking them. By following these connections, you can understand the flow of data and transformations within the node network.

  7. Make modifications: You can tweak parameters, add or remove nodes, or connect nodes differently to customize the setup. Please experiment with different settings to achieve the desired results.
